Introducing Iggy, a loving 3-year-old Border Collie who struggles with anxiety around new people and dogs, leading to snapping and nervous behavior.

Iggy's owners are concerned about his interactions with unfamiliar people, especially children, and his unpredictable reactions to other dogs.

Iggy's owners taught him numerous tricks and life skills, but his herding instincts still led to nipping behaviors.

Border Collies have strong herding instincts, which can result in nipping at other dogs or people to control movement.

We taught Iggy to redirect his attention to his owner and receive a ball reward when he sees another dog. We also implemented a pattern game to help him approach people he's unsure of.

Iggy did really well! We saw a few dogs who he was able to look at and disengage from without any issue, and he was even taking treats from my hand after being nervous around me.

His owners now have strategies to assist him in disengaging when overwhelmed.

We are certain that Iggy and his dedicated owners will continue to make great strides in their training! Keep up the fantastic work, Iggy and team!
