Angus the Reactive GSD cross Belgian malinois

Updated: Jun 4, 2021

Angus is a very high drive German shepherd cross Belgian malinois. If anyone knows this cross, they will know they aren’t for the faint-hearted.

When Angus was a puppy, he broke his leg, since then he has been in and out of vets for multiple operations.

Angus, like a lot of GSDs, has become reactive to dogs and people - which has only got worse due to his lack of socialization, genetics, and pain.

Angus reactivity distance with people isn’t actually that far at all, people are fine until up close.

We’ve started building a relationship up with him and his owners as well as teaching him to look at them for guidance. Next, we will sort his loose leash walking and whatever is left of his reactivity.

He’s a mint dog that has odds stacked against him, but is super clever!

Well done Angus and co
