Bailey the Spanish Water Dog

Bailey is a lovely dog who just wants to plod through life. He’s had a few scraps with other dogs and can be quite stand-off-ish when greeting them.

We are a couple of weeks in and he’s a changed dog. He is a lot less reactive and is happily ignoring dogs and looking back to his owner as well as listening more.

Our goal with Bailey is to help him get off the lead without the fear he will take off after a dog and will always come back when asked, so we started working on his recall with a long line. To begin with, he was plodding back, however by the end we had him coming running! We then started teaching him to come back mid-ball chase too, which he did fab at!
