It’s been around 3 years since the last time we saw Dougal.
We saw him originally due to frustration around other dogs and pulling on the lead. Since then, he’s had a rollercoaster of behaviour issues.
His reactivity got better, until he was attacked twice. Since then it has come back as fear based reactivity, rather than frustration.
We’ve been called back in to help Dougal and his family out. So we want to do some dog training in Hebburn to sort him out.
We got him out, tightened up his loose leash walking and some more foundation behaviours, got Chloe, my German Shepherd, out and within minutes had her sat next to him and walking around him with no issues.
Dougal knows the score as it’s similar to his frustration based reactivity training and very quickly picked it up again.
Since the attacks, his owners has lost some confidence in handling Dougal so we will be helping out over the next few weeks.
There’s a lot of work to do here, but he will be just fine in no time!
Well done everyone.
