Duke the Black Labrador

This big guy is Duke.

A lovely black lab that loves to drag his guardian around while sniffing the floor and bark and pull to other dogs.

He also gets distracted by people and wants to go and see them.

We started working on his loose leash walking and he started to pick this up pretty quickly.

Our next step was to start counter-conditioning to people and dogs, which he started picking up by the end of the session.

With Duke, he needs his routine ditched. He is in the habit of leaving the house, going the same way, and getting to the same field whether he pulls or not, so he needs to have this changed for a while to learn that he only gets places by walking nicely by his guardian.

Duke will do fab and be sorted in no time!
