Frodo the Australian Shepherd

Our trainer Jaake, has been in Sunderland to meet Frodo (an adolescent Australian Shepherd) and his family for their first session.

We were called in to work with Frodo after he attended puppy classes (with another company), where the classes involved playing with all the other dogs. Since then, Frodo now gets frustrated whenever he sees another dog that he can’t get to, which is causing him to react.

Today we looked at the importance of setting Frodo up for success and started teaching him more appropriate behaviours in the presence of other dogs which help him relax.

Frodo absolutely nailed his session today which we will now build on in future sessions.
