On Monday we went back to see Harvey the Fox Red Labrador. Harvey did really well in his familiar environment then we were able to push him further and he remained fine.
Unfortunately, this was one of those sessions where it all quickly went wrong and we ended up trapped in the middle of a field surrounded by dogs at every entrance of the field.
Harvey coped very well and doesn't react to other dogs aggressively, his choice of action is to flee - which he wasn't able to. He dealt with it well and coped well,
however, wouldn't take food.
When working in a real environment, these things occasionally happen, however, this was the worst I have had for a while. However, we will be putting steps in place to avoid this situation from happening again.
On a plus note, he was calmer and more confident than he ever had been before and was his usual happy self as soon as we got back
