Jax's last session

Today was Jax's last session with our trainer Brenna.

His owners called us in to help with his over-excitement and inappropriate play behaviour - which involved jumping up, mouthing, and even hair-pulling.

In our first session, we showed him how to properly greet people in a calm manner and avoid any injuries to guests by asking him to go and sit behind a baby gate and wait. We then worked on impulse control, teaching a settle, walking to a heel, and giving him a way to ask for playtime without practicing unwanted behaviours.

He is almost a completely different dog from when we first met - he is now extremely calm, focused on training, and even choosing to lie down and relax - something he struggled to do in the past.

Well done Jax and parents! So proud of his progress!
