The new girl on the block Lola didn't get the best start in life and as a result can be quite nervous, especially when she sees other dogs or people when they're making too much noise.
We started teaching Lola a "Go Sniff" which will be used to stop her from fixating on dogs. Over time she'll learn dogs = treat and will start automatically checking in with mum.
We also looked at how we can reinforce calming behaviours and teach her to settle to make sure she's getting enough.
Her mums have been set some homework on desensitising her to other dogs but ensuring she remains calm and underthreshold to change her emotional response
Overall she is done really well and picked up the training quickly
