Maggie The Staffordshire Terrier cross Poodle

Maggie had her second session today to help her feel more comfortable around other dogs. Maggie's family have made excellent progress and Maggie trotted into today's session with perfect loose lead walking!

This session was all about seeing new dogs and learning to feel safe. Maggie was able to focus on her owner and disengage from the stooge dogs. Maggie quickly progressed on to walking past the stooge dogs and even braved having a quick sniff! We then went for a walk in the forest with Maggie and did some dog-watching to practice these skills in the real world. At the end of the walk, Maggie was able to greet her new friend nose-to-nose with confidence!

Maggie and her family have made amazing progress in such a short amount of time. Next up for Maggie is a busier environment to continue building her confidence around other unknown dogs.
