Marvin with Biting Problem and a Resource Guarder

Yesterday we went back to see Marvin.

Now Marvin has some serious issues, there are some obvious gut issues going on and when he doesn’t feel well he takes it out on his owner by biting.

He is also a resource guarder, which also gets worse when he’s not feeling well.

He guards everything from doorways to toys and even his bowl before the owners have put it down.

Yesterday he was having a bad day and wasn’t feeling great, so we did some simple loose leash walking with him to keep the training going.

We got the loose leash sorted, and from here we can look at his dog reactivity and resource guarding.

Massive hats off to the owners for working with him, most would have had him PTS by now!
