Max the Reactive Collie Dog

Yesterday we met Max in person for the first time!

A few weeks ago, Max’s guardians booked onto one of my support packages and we started with some zoom consultations.

Max is a worker, a proper border collie, and it shows in everything he does.

He is reactive to everything, people, dogs, and traffic which can be dangerous, as you can imagine.

Max has some pretty clear thresholds to work with, but a very fine line between not even noticing and full-blown reactivity.

Basically, we are teaching Max that good stuff happens with the owner when these things come into his “Zone”.
