Meet Bonnie (Papillon) and Bailey (Collie cross)!

Siobhan, their own, initially contacted us at the start of lockdown after rescuing and bringing Bonnie home with her while working away in another country.

Initially, there was some heat between the 2 dogs in the house which we quickly got sorted on the initial call.

We have now been asked to help with Scoobies departure frustration (where he gets frustrated when someone is leaving), his fear of fireworks (since we are on the run-up to bonfire night already!), and Bonnies anxiety around other dogs.

To begin with, we got Bonnie off their head halter and taught her to walk nicely on the lead, this will allow her to feel more comfortable and like she can create more space from other dogs if needed.

Next, we started teaching her that good things happen around dogs.

Finally, we looked at Scoobys frustration and started to get him sorted there too.

There’s a lot of work left to do, but we are off to a flying start!
