Meg is a beautiful little Border Collie from Catterick, who has a lot of She is constantly on the go, wants to herd, wants to ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ, wants to chase birds, and wants to see other dogs, and has been known to nip at some people.
Meg was a fantastic dog to train. She was very focused during her session, and she picked up loose leash walking
We're mainly working on the traffic issue with Meg because she is completely She ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ๐, ๐น๐๐ป๐ด๐ฒ๐, ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ผ ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ, and is clearly quite stressed by this.
We have two steps for this. We want to ๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป, which is where we pair the sight of traffic with ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ด๐ผ๐ผ๐ฑ ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด. We want to do this from a distance.
At the same time, we also want to teach Meg an alternative behaviour. We want to calm her down on the lead and have some
Eventually, what will happen is that Meg will be ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐น๐ ๐ป๐ฒ๐ ๐ ๐๐ผ ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ ๐ฎ ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐ด๐ผ ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐๐, ๐๐ต๐ฒ'๐น๐น ๐น๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ rather than lunge at the car.
Meg and her owner are They work really hard together, and their results will be fantastic.
