My second consultation yesterday was Nancy the border collie (nearest the front).

If you don’t remember, Nancy is a car chaser. A potentially very dangerous struggle.

Last time, I set homework to stop allowing access to herd the rabbit and to build calmness during the days. This has had a huge impact on Nancy, we are now able to work with her outside and build focus too.

Yesterday we started the process to teach her that a car passing meant good stuff from her handler and during the session she was already starting to predict food coming while cars passed - at a safe, non-scary distance of course.

Her owner Kim has clearly put in a lot of hard work while I have been away and this clearly showed!
