Rapid Recall

Today I (Jaake) had the pleasure of meeting Lenny, an awesome cocker spaniel who didn’t quite make the grade as a detection dog for the police due to his recall.

Lenny has however landed on his feet and found the perfect pet home. His recall however is still an issue.

Today we looked at a clear process to work through to develop a reliable recall. We also looked at some fun recall games Lenny’s owners can play with him.

In our next session, we will look at taking the training into a more distracting environment where we can develop Lenny’s recall further.

Lenny was awesome today and responded really well to our training.
