Revisiting Benji the Springer Spaniel known for steeling and resource guarding

Today we went back to see Benji the #springerspaniel

Previously, Benji the super cute pup was stealing and guarding socks and slippers, barking at noises as well as showing the occasional sign of aggression towards owners.

We are pleased to say that Benji and his guardians have done amazing and followed the plan and trained every day!

Resource guarding is always a difficult one to take on, as it’s not something that you can usually train in the moment or in the environment. Transforming the traits and brain concepts a dog has is the answer, as well as management and fallbacks!

Today we started teaching Benji scent work using @theschoolofcaninescience #S46 methods and he did amazing!
