Rocco the Reactive and Aggressive Staffy and Bull Mastiff Pup

Rocco is a very hyper pup, due to being so hyper, he is unable to take in his environment and this causes him to make poor choices.

I was called to help with his barking and lunging towards other dogs and aggression towards people when up close, however from the moment I met him that he needs to learn to calm down.

We started working on calming behaviors outside and started building up his focus on his owners.

I left them with some loose leash walking exercises and foundation stages of counter-conditioning to work on over the next couple of weeks, once these are mastered we can start getting rid of the reactivity.
