Fergus is a 7 year old rescue from gumtree who is majorly reactive.
He will react from about 200 meters away and reacts with a lot of intensity and struggles to recover after.
Fergus started on our reactivity program, however after the first session, we delayed the second due to his guardian being about to move house and me being off work for a few weeks.
During the first session, it was blatantly obvious that Fergus was a lovely dog and had a great relationship with his guardian, but was far to over-aroused by walks.
We have taken the opportunity to avoid all triggers and work on calming him down when leaving the house and focusing on his guardian while out and about.
To do this, we taught him a nice focused heel, counting games, and a nice calming exercise.
