Ruby the Border Collie used to chase cars and stalk them, when they approached, pull on the lead, refused to get in the car, and have some resource guarding issues. They’ve worked with a different trainer before, but that just made everything worse and she also ended up with a sore neck
In this session, we had some beautiful loose leash walking around the cars in the busy school run without any issue at all, her resource guarding is pretty much sorted and we started on getting her happy around their own car - all using positive reinforcement and proven to work methods.
We have another session soon where we will continue working on these and build another bombproof collie
