Yesterday we went back to see Meg the sproodle.

At our first appointment, we put in some foundation work as we usually do, including marker cues, calming behaviours, general confidence-building and ruling out any underlining issues.

We do this to set the dog up for success, rather than diving into tackle problems the dog isn’t in the headspace to deal with.

With Meg, this has clearly paid off. Meg is reactive to other dogs and usually would have struggled with being this close to a new dog, however, after some work with her, we have some lovely focus and confidence and she is learning that good thing happens when she’s around other dogs

Super results for just our second session!

Looking forward to seeing how far they’ve come when I return in the new year

Well done Meg, Kim, and family!
